Credit Card - Credit Balance

Hi,
I now have a credit card with a credit balance of £3000 - long story!
Anyway, I have other cards that I need to pay off, so I am very pleased to finally be making some inroads into my debts.
Question is, how can I get this money back to my current account, in order to then pay my other cards?
I have ruled out the direct balance transfer route due to the 3% charges that I have heard of with Mint (?)
Second option, money transfer from Mint online to my bank, as it is a credit balance, will I be charged the 3% advance fee?
Can I ring them up and request it be transferred to my bank account / request a cheque, free of charge?
I've tried finding some information on this, but am having no luck. I was hoping there was a law that no charges could be brought to a credit balance on a credit card.
Thanks for your help in advance, much appreciated.
J.

Normally it can be transferred free of charge. Call them up and ask.0

Lenders, vary in this respect, as with nearly everything else. The outcome depends on the cc provider involved and their interpretation of anti-money laundering regulations.
Is your £3000 positive balance on a Mint credit card account?People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
