eBay "Wrong Address"

Sold item on eBay, buyer paid instantly then sent a message to say they put the wrong address (an extra digit) on PayPal by accident and asked to send to another address.
I replied saying to change the address as I would only send to what was on PayPal.
They replied to say had done so.
When I checked again the address was the same.
What I want to know is, if they did change their address would it show on my PayPal details, or just the address when the item sold?
What if they did change it and I send it to the original ("wrong") address, which address would I be eligible for seller protection?

P.S. Their address on eBay is the same as the PayPal one...

You need to refund and they need to change the address and then pay.

He says it is fine to post to the original address.
That should be fine, shouldn't it? Otherwise what would stop somebody changing their address after paying for something?

You get an email confirming payment from paypal with the address on, which will be the same as going into that transaction on your paypal account - it will show the address that was on there when they paid. If they change the address after they've paid it won't show on your transaction, it shows the address as it was when they pay.

So the address that is on my transaction will be the one eligible for seller protection, regardless of the address they have now?
I suppose it's obvious, I just wanted to make sure.
