Hi...which model combi? When you say the heating is on, do you mean the heating is on when there is no hot water demand or does the heating just come on when you're using hot water?

Hi...not just a monster in size;) The 400 is prone to sludging up...this impacts on the pump, the diverter the heat exchanger. Have you had problems in the past with sludge/your heat exchanger? Let BG keep beavering away until they have a solution...they might suggest that a powerflush is required to continue coverage (and in this case they could be spot on).

Let us know how you get on.

  • have you had the programmer replaced?
is it a worcester programmer with two green buttons either side of the led screen. if so they can show that the heating is off but it isn`t. something to do with triachs sticking on the pcb of the programmer.
dont know if this helps, bg should have found this, if it is this fault though.
