visco-elastic topper mattress

thinking of getting a visco-elastic (memory form) topper mattress but dont know which one to get as there are lots in the market. tempur is too expensive so that's out of the question.

saw lots in ebay and also in other website, but which one do i get???

I bought a double from a seller on Ebay a last month and its brilliant. I used to wake in the morning with very painful hips but since having the topper, the pain has gone. Have also noticed OH doesnt move around the bed so much,. It took a few nights to get used to it, but the only dificulty I have now is to get out in the morning, I'm just soooooooooooooo comfortable !. When I was looking into these toppers, the general consensus of opinion seemed to be that you need it to be 2" or more thick, ( dont go for the 1") and the density needs to be 60 kg per cubic metre. ( there are some on sale that are 40 kg per c m).My one was I think £75, and it was delivered in a couple of days.. If you want the name of the seller, PM me and I will let you know.

The next best visco topper as far as I can tell, is from a company called Kaymed / King Koil. They do fab pocket sprung matts with a good wadge of visco elastic on top. They do toppers as well. I've got a mattress & it's bloody marvellous! I work for an independent furniture shop & I strongly advise you to look up your local independent store - it could be worth your while. And please, try before you buy, they will at least have products on the shop floor for you to have a lie on!
