What’s the deal?

Hostel broker Hostelbookers is offering beds in five European hostels for 5p a night, for stays between 6 and 10 July 2009. Destinations include Barcelona and the Santorini.

How to grab ‘em

There will be 50 rooms released per day at the special rate, and you can book them online when the sale kicks off at ... 2pm GMT, every day from 1 to 5 June. (It’s 10 beds in each of the five hostels per night, for five nights). You can book as many as you like (or can get).

Which hostels are included?

Hostels include the Centric Point in Barcelona, where a bed normally costs £25 per night. It’s one booking per person, and you can book for a maximum of three nights, so if you managed to grab this hotel for three nights, you’d save £234! The other hostels taking part are Purple Nest in Valencia, Sunrock Backpackers Hostel in Corfu, Hostel D'Alguer in Alghero and Santorini Hostel in Santorini.

Hi.... sorry if being daft but I don't understand how you save £234? if it's normally £25 a night, three nights would be £75 but with this deal you would pay £0.15p therefore surely saving £74.85? obviously still a very good find! am I simply not understanding this??
