The answer is yes... my dad used to run a pub and he said that alcohol doesn't go off as long as it's not open. Even then, spirits are still fine for years :D

I can't see how you could possibly have wine in your house for that long!!!!!!! Glad it was OK though, although what excuse am I going to find now for having to drink the wine we have?

I have to say wine does not normally last this long in my house but it was right at the back of my understairs cupboard and had had everything under the sun piled in front of it.

it is really very nice though and i am sure it will not last long now it is opened:rotfl:

FYI, bag in box wines keep much longer than bottles when opened because the bag collapses inwards as the wine is poured, so no air gets to it. Enjoy!

    thanks

    Well, I'd drink it!

Even if it tastes foul you won't care after two glasses.

How does this happen?:confused::confused: :rotfl:

It's a bit like the suggestion to freeze left-over wine. Left-over wine? :rotfl:

That is just what I was wondering!!

It would never happen in this household:o :rotfl:

Most wine doesn't have a best before date and legally, it's not required to have one unless it's less than 10% ABV
