3 things not received from different ebay sellers (Sorry it's so long!)

Hey, has anyone ever had 3 things from different ebay sellers all not turn up?
I bought a DVD on 8th of May, which was posted 1st class on 11th May - not received it yet.
I bought a cardigan (BIN) on the 9th of May, which was posted 1st class on 11th May - not received it yet.
I bought a dress (BIN) on 18th of May which was posted 1st class on 19th May - not received it yet.
I've contacted my local RM depo, who have checked back as far as 6th May & there's been no parcels returned there for me.
Thing is, I've since won 2 items that have both arrived 2 days after paying! (1 DVD & 1 travel kit) So I don't understand how I still haven't received these earlier items?
They were all paid for through Paypal. At the moment I'm £31.02 out of pocket. Obviously I'm going to claim for them through Paypal, but I'm really worried that Paypal are going to think I'm trying it on, claiming for 3 things at once. I've contacted 2 of the 3 sellers (the 1st 2 items, I'm going to wait till tomorrows post before checking with the seller of the dress) who have confirmed they were all posted & told me to get back to them after the 14 days are up so that they can claim through Royal Mail. Has anyone ever had this problem? Or does anyone have any advice for anything else I can do? I've been using ebay as a buyer & seller since Feb 07 & haven't had a problem like this before!!

have you contacted your local delivery office enquiring if there is an issue with your delivery duty?
checking the shelf is fine for shut noticed items but if theres a backlog of packets for that delivery area then theres no chance the item would be on the shelf0 -

I spoke to the local delivery office yesterday & explained why I was calling to ask about this & the guy never said if there was any problems. I've had the same postie for the last 10 years (at 3 different addresses!) & never had a problem like this before? I got a parcels last Friday, Yesterday & today, but not the ones I've been waiting on. If there was a backlog problem would I have received them anyway or would they have gone to the end of the backlog?.•

it really depends
if we have a backlog (for various reasons) then the packets end up on yorkies(big trolleys) and are cleared in overtime by whomever
so its not always cleared by date0 -
I really don't know what to do! If I'm not going to get my stuff (& to be honest it does look unlikely now, even with your explanation custardy) then I want my money back so I can buy them from someone/somewhere else. I'm going to be in Blairgowrie (where the local sorting office is) tomorrow. Do you think it's worth me going down & speaking to them?.•

it wouldnt hurt
end of the day you havent recieved your items so a paypal dispute will be your next step0 -
I had this 3 different items, had to start dispute and then they turned up 14 working days after they had been posted and they were just left outside our front door. I've had to claim loads through paypal for non delivery, don't think they care, the seller should send items recorded.
Has got me wondering where all our ebay purchases end up? does the seller never send them, does someone at the post office like my choice in purchases or perhaps they just leave them outside my front door for anyone passing by to help themselves too.0 -
I had exactly the same problem, 3 items I'd bought hadn't arrived 2 weeks later....I called the delivery office, checked at the post office, even asked my neighbours....no luck.
On the saturday morning OH went to mow the lawn...and found all 3 parcels in the shed.
No note through the door or anything!!! At least I got em in the end though!0 -
Ok, here's an update of whats happened! lol
I checked again at the sorting office, nothing.
I contacted the seller of the dress asking if she had received it back & she sent a nice message saying no, that she was sorry & that she had refunded me fully! lol (I only bought it on the 18th, she said she posted it on the 19th). So thats good.
The DVD seller says that as I bought it on the 8th & they posted it on the 11th I can't do anything about it until the 1st of June as that'll be 14 days (excluding weekend & bank holidays). They've sent the same message both times I've asked about it, so I guess I'm in limbo until the 1st!
Yesterday I contacted the cardigan seller (who include saturdays in her posting) saying that as today was 14 days after she sent it & I still hadn't received it I would be moving the paypal claim onto asking for my money back. She said that was fine & that she would refund me as soon as it came through to her. Then i got a message from her saying that as I had escalated it to get my money back paypal had removed the refund option and I would have to wait until they decided whether I should get my money back or not!!!!! Now she's saying if i cancel the claim she'll refund me straight away.
So, do I do cancel it & risk that she won't refund me & I can't open another dispute or wait until paypal do something about it?? Its a pain in the neck as now I have no cardigan (which I really wanted) & no money to see if I can buy another one! Grr!!!!! lol.•
