I'd check out LIVERPOOL VICTORIA for good value. My Mum saved over £200.00 last year of her buildings & content insurance.0

Hi OP, I think you need to consider the cover on offer first of all.
Privilage and Churchill are both owned by UKI who are owned by RBS. Other brands include Direct Line. In theory the service you get from privilage should be better because that is their marketing niche, but I suspect everyone gets to the same call center! Look for covers included in the two policies that you think you need. I think I am correct that a courtesy car is standard for privelige but optional on Churchill. Also Churchill gives no comp cover for driving abroad as standard but I think privelige does.
With motor, at the end of the day, your money is mainly going on the third party cover, with a bit of comp.
For the home insurance you need to be much more careful about the level of cover on offer since this varies much more than with car insurance because there are no compulsory elements. Esure are not popular on here but I have no personal experience of either esure or B&B.
B&B seems to have more cover for temporary removal, standard home emergency cover, emergency repair service, more cover for loss of water, but less cover for money in the home and no cover for plants in the garden. There are more differences so you should check the detail of each policy to see if it covers the bits you need, also the source of my info could be a bit out of date so check the details!!0 -
hi
on the car insurance it seems swings and round abouts between both those of them companies, they both offer what i need except one charges for one the other gives its included, so i guess it depends which of the 2 people have the better experience with, although i'm confused what you mean by this as i'm want comprehensice coverWith motor, at the end of the day, your money is mainly going on the third party cover, with a bit of comp
