Hi

Just wondering is there rows in the theatre that are just too good, ie. too close! Have seen good priced tickets for row D at the Victoria apollo London, is this too close, im sure i read somewhere that it was only the first two that were too close! Any advice appreciated!

Ask the monkey. As a new user I'm not allowed to post links, but do the dubbya thing and go theatremonkey dot com. Gives all the seating plans for London theatres, also has a list of discounted tickets. Great site, I use it all the time. I love Stalls seats, the only way row D would be a problem is if the stage is too high.

Well, it also depends on the set design of the show in question. If the show has a lot going on at height you'll get a crick in your neck. Other shows may not be a problem.
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

To re-iterate Anna - go to Theatremonkey - i alway look on there to see the layout and check out the best seats (and best of all, what seats to avoid).
    Thank you all who post.

Two comments about this: Firstly I have seen wicked at apollo victoria several times each time from the circle, and I would personally reckon row d stalls is probably a bit too close to appreciate the full spectacle of the show.

With regards to the best seats argument, I would either go about 6/7th row stalls or front of circle to get best views, and then it is personal choice, to get the best view of the stage as a whole then circle is better, however to feel more part of the action stalls are obviously better.

Hi, I've done Wicked twice - row D & row T. T was better as you got a view of the whole stage. D was good but it was difficult to take in everything that was happening. Hope this helps.

:( I want to go again - Wicked is wicked!!
