credit card payoff

Options
Hi all, I've received a call from a company called "cancel your loan" stating that for a fee of £195.00 per card they can possibly write off my credit card loans as long as I took the card out before April 2007. Could you guys please advise whether this is a scam or whether I could be holidaying in the Maldives if this is true?
Thanks

    They're misleading you.

They're using the stuff mentioned in my post here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=21348133#post21348133

Summary - for paying them for doing something you could do yourself for free, you could, possibly, end up not being forced to pay back the debt, but possibly not for a while yet, and for 6 years after, you won't be able to get any other credit due to a trashed credit record.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
