OK, OK, a bit sad I know - PC game Query

Long shot this, but I have been on the web and have found no help yet! Then I thought "maybe the most helpful web community I have ever seen will come up trumps!":j
I have been playing Dune 2000 on our old PC, but as we now have a new PC, using Windows XP I can't get the game to load on it - I suspect it's not compatible. Old PC now in younger son's bedroom for homework, CDs etc, so I can't get near it!:o
The game ran fine on our old pc which used Windows Millennium :eek: - I know, not a popular system, but it served us OK.
Anybody know if it is possible to find a patch/fix to allow it to run on XP?

Have you tried running it in "compatibility mode" ?
