The challenge: what’s the least you’ve spent to activate a freebie?
Most supermarkets allow credit card payments for any amount, so buy chewing gum, chocolate or, for health conscious MoneySavers, an apple, and hey presto the freebie is yours. Then pay it off and you can simply cancel the account. What's the least you've managed to spend and what on?

39p bar of Cadburys flake on Amazon for the £15 voucher. After chasing it, finally received it, used it and closed card. Then randomly received a second £15 voucher from Amazon, (as think the complaints department and the voucher dept crossed over each other) so quickly spent that one before they changed their mind!
P.S. I would have bought the Flake anyway, although there was a potential scene in Tesco, with my Dad insisting on buying it for me if I was having to resprt to putting such a spend on credit!0
