any help gratful

hi all just need some important help my mum and dads split up about two years ago and we think theres some insurance and bonds policys floating about somewhere in my mums name. (and shes signed for!!) the problem is we dont know who shes insured and investments are with for any policy details or anything . my dad wont tell us anything and has said he wont pay for them anymore and would drather throw money down the drain than tell my mum who shes insured with!!! :mad: . is there any way of finding out what in her name and not in her name!!! any ideas???

    Have they just split or divorced?
    If the latter all of this should have come out during the divorce settlement negotiations.
    Did your parents have a joint account? If so get hold of some old statements to see if any d/d references appear on them, phone the companies up to see who owns what.

    In Holland one always gets a yearly statement for taxpurposes. Do you not get something like that? If not old bankstatements are the best way indeed. Or, if you are pretty sure it´s worth it force him to tell through court.
