  • They have done a rehaul on lots of their numbers
Try the say no to website www.saynoto.co.uk
There's lots on there in for your areas too
  • Hey people!! Just checked www. saynoto0870 dot com(not allowed links apparently) and the correct number is 0136773022. CharlA, you missed off the last "2" Very easy mistake to make. Also, I rang the number about 5 minutes ago (09/11/2010) and it is the exact same line as 08457123456.

Calls to the 0845 number are charged at local rate anyway.
  • Hi there all iam wondering if any one could help me or give some info advice on claiming dla for my son with severe behavioural problems!
my son is 4 years old and will be 5 in january 2011 ,ive been having problems with him ever since i can remember and is getting worse as he gets older .My on is very active …on the go all the time with no in-between .He has very poor concentration span and easily distracted .He suffers with exsma also which i believe is a result to his constant super charged behaviour and also has a speech impediment which results in him being more frustrated and violent .My son demands things and will screech out screaming and episode can last an hour or so if he doesn't get what he wants .my son is violent/aggressive spontaneously and finds it hard to socialise with other children in parks etc as he is very hard handed and forceful [although to his defence i really don't think he understands this ]…My son constantly fights with his two sisters on a daily bases and has bruised /scratched them many a times (daughters aged 3 and 6 ) .My son is constantly and i mean constantly with no exaggeration always trying to do something that he shouldn't and breaks things constantly including all his toys …his sisters and house hold furniture!!. getting out with him is difficult as he try to run away and even bus rides are a major issue as he runs on top deck and constantly switching chairs running around screaming if i try and restrain him .things are becoming progressively worse and the danger element to his stunts are becoming very much worrying .He is constantly jumping off of things and has NO fear at all .Just a few weeks ago i lost him at the park and he had ran home by himself[across busy road]! just a few days a go while i was in the bathroom my daughter ran down stairs to tell me ny son had managed to open the attic bedroom window and that he was hanging out of there trying to pick the grass moulds form the sledges!!!!!!...very frightening although my son was very amused .
Ive cut out all food and drinks sweets etc that might be making him worse but there seams to be no change ! ...also sleeping is a major issue as he takes about two hours to go to sleep and wakes several times through the night and the most early mornings sneaks downstairs to rade the cupboards or chuck water around the bath room or empty things down the toilet etc !! this is becoming a nightmare and am seriously worried for his safety .
i went to the doctor with him and expressed my concerns back in 2009 but unfortunately i was told after him referring him to a specialist that we lived out of the catchment area and was offered no further help!!..i have been back to my doctor this year after moving and have expressed my concerns and demanded he be seen ....he has now been referd again and have a date for 6 weeks time !...can i mention that my son is not in school and is awaiting a place meant .i do feel that his behaviour may calm down but don't believe this to be his issue as of the danger side to it .My son did spend a few months in nursery doing 2 hours a day but they did not express the same concerns hence the reason i di not press on for further help with gp back in 2009 . i believe that while my son was in nursery as he was full of activities painting …playing with sand etc he was fully occupied hence their reason for better behaviour although he was put on the naughty bench at least 4 times a week during outside play for what ever reasons fighting etc !
Please if any one can gv advise !!Ive sent off a claim for dla as I believe that with this help it will make things easier …i.e. traveling will be safer and I will be able to fund more activities and replace things he has broken etc or even get some help with supervision with him when need to do things !
Can I mention that my other two children are very well mannered and well behaviour and I have No issues with at all .My son if anything takes all my attention ?
Also I would like to mention that every one who meets my son if only for half hour comments on how hard work he is …nobody else handles taking him anywhere and visiting is out of the question as he causes cause!!...
i have included in my dla ap the referral letters my doc has written to specialist confirming that he my son is indeed ;ike a super charged bouncing ball having to be physically restrained and was born out in the cause he played out in the surgery !!…after sending this off to dla ive been told that they have asked gp for a factual report ?//
any help would be great thanks
