LXDirect operate a deliberate policy of displaying misleading prices when a "discount code" has been used. The price you will be charged is likely to be more than the price you approve at the time of purchase

In other words they issue a discount code to attract you the customer, then decide whether they will let you personally use it and then whether or not they will permit it's use against the particular item you ordered.
They do not consider they have any contractual obligation to you until the goods are despatched by which time your account has probably been charged with the full non discounted price of the goods. When goods are returned the customer pays the inital delivery charge.

Your right. Don't automaticallt expect that the discount is applied. Check on track an order on their website. Also their Delivery times they quote mean nothing. The phone line customer support is crap. Their t&c's say if payment made by Credit Card payment will only be taken out on delivery date. Mine was taken out straight away! I cancelled order as they could not give a delivery date. Still waiting for the full refund on my Credit card. Like it says BEWARE!

I won't be using again.
