bought tesco mobile phone

i purchased a new mobile from tesco, only a cheap one,£29.95 with £10 free credit. When i got it home i realised it didnt give instructions on how to get the free credit. I rang the store and they told me i hadto make a call or text to any number and it would be activated and that instructions were on my receipt. I read the receipt but it gave no instructions so i made a call to see if that would activate it. Nothing happened so i rang the store again and spoke to another lady who said the instuctions were on the receipt, i explained that they werent and that id previously rung and followed instructions given before. The lady insisted that i would find it on the receipt and when i said it wasnt there she said"well i know damn well it is"
I then said i would be coming to the store to show her the receipt and prove it.
I took the phone and receipt to the store and the lady said there had been a problem and they hadnt been printed on the receipt as they should have been. I said she was basically calling me a liar on the telephone and i didnt appreciate being spoken to like that. I never took it further as i regularly shop there and she is normally one of the "nice ones"
I was told to phone 282 and register the phone and then the amount would be credited. This was at 4pm yesterday and still no money.
Im afraid tomorrow it will be another trip to tesco,s and a complaint.(I never got an apology the first time, and sometimes it doesnt pay to be nice)

It takes up to 48 hours for the top-up to be credited. Did my husband's on Monday; had text this morning to say £10 had been credited. HTH.
