Dixons checkout system

Hope this is the right place to ask.

Tried to order a camera online tonight from Dixons. It should come under the %free finance and details of such are under the item when put into basket. The option to select finacne is meant to come up during checkout process but I don't get that - only the option to pay full amount.

I really can't see why it doesn't come up especially as finamce deal changes as I enter a promotional code i.e. readjusts figures, so definately applicable to product.

Anyone else had same problem? Is so, how was it overcome? I have sent email to address on site but can't find a phone number.

Right i can agree with your post. I selected a very expensive camera that had fiance options available. I got to typing in the credit card or debit card details for the payment. i havent gone any further as i dont want to buy it accidently. Does it ask you anything else after this, or is this where you got up to?

After putting in details of card, went to next stage at which point it asked for verification of our particular credit card security. We put that in and, although it still said full amount (~£350) dh didn't think submitting would be final step to purchase so clicked again. Still didnt offer finance option but just final confirm button.

Incidentally model is Nikon D60 with VR 15-88 lens.

Its The Same On the Currys Website. Have you thought about getting a credit card with 0% interest for like 10 months. and paying for it full rather then Dixons or Currys 24% APR

Thanks Crampo. The odea was to do Buy Now Pay Later but pay off at end of the interest free period anyway. Dixons haven't replied to my email needless to say!
