Changing a price after the auction ended

I have bought something off eBay but the seller is asking..
Im very sorry but i will not be sendinf these cards for any less then £10 this is because i have checked and got feedback and £5 is a completely stupid price so if you are willing to pay £10 and £5 p&p so £15 all together i will not be sending these items and if you have already paid the £10 i will just transfer the money back into your paypal.
Thanks.
Is this against the rules?

Yes, but you can't force the seller to complete the transaction. Pay via paypal first, so that you do not get hit with a NPB dispute, then when they refund you can report them to ebay and leave a neg if you wish.0

Yes it is.
However you can't force the seller to sell. I would strongly suggest though that you pay so that the seller can't open an nPB on you later. The seller may then just refund you, and that is OK, but if they try and do even a mutual reclaim of fees I would certainly refuse outright. (Let them pay their FVFs!)
Then take time to consider what feedback to leave...
However, it might just be worth paying and emailing the seller politely pointing out that you won fair and square and will be expecting the goods as won and paid for, he might not expect you to call his bluff. I certainly would not pay more.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. In some circumstances I might be tempted to pay more if I knew I was still getting a great bargain, however that would be taking a chance on paypal protection. Perhaps if the seller added the extra cost on to the actual invoice you would be covered?
Certainly I would by no means advise anyone to do that, but sometimes you can weigh up the cons and find that the pros are still tipping the scale. It would have to be something I really wanted and would be unlikey to find elsewhere again and at a really cheap price!
It is however out of order and a big rule breach to try and increase the price of a completed auction. Most people wouldn't ever entertain such a seller as a matter of principle, and because they clearly have no idea what they are doing.0 -
As mentioned make sure you pay and if they refund and refund then leave feedback, make sure it is clear why you left it to warn others.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

You might also want to point out that they have the option of starting their auction at £9.99 so this potential problem for them is entirely avoidable.0

pay them then see what they do. if you get refunded leave a negative eplaining what happened - the seller's stance goes against the idea of ebay
