Barclaycard - not enough credit for 0% balance transfer

Hiya,
I wonder if this happened to anybody else and would be the best solution.
Applied for 0% Barclaycard (10 months) in order to transfer balance from a high interest cc. The balance on this cc is £980 but Barclaycard have only offered a limit of £540 which is obviously not enough to transfer all of the balance from the old cc.
What do I do now? Do I transfer as much as I can to Barclaycard and carry on paying off both cc? Or perhaps speak to Barclaycard and ask them to increase the limit?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...

Personally when i have applied in the past for barclays and its been well noted on this forum in the past they offer very low limits - plus they may only review that limit 6 months time, unless you go down the route of proving your income - sending wage slips etc etc.Tell it as it should be....0
