Two cards for one purchase?

Options
Does anyone know if you can use two cards to make one purchase? I got the Virgin balance transfer card approved last night but would like to buy a car using two credit cards (to benefit from their loyalty rewards) and then use the Virgin card to transfer the balances. The purchase will be about £10,000.
Thanks.

First find a garage that will accept a credit card for £10k without you paying their transaction fee.

i paid for some jewellery on 2 CCs, i just told them what was to go on each card and as long as it added up to the total amount due they were happy.

The Virgin Balance transfer card is 0% for 16mths - I will re-assess after that. 0% finance is only available on new cars as far as I know - I never buy new cars as the minute you sign for it, it loses a few thousand.

Re: Is the credit crunch over ? - I'm sorry but I don't understand your comment.

Re: Transaction fee - thanks for that top tip - will ensure that I check that.

Thanks to everyone for replying x

With the credit card transaction fee and the balance transfer fee is it going to be worth it?
