Loan insurance charge

in Reclaim PPI & other insurance
Wondering if someone can help. My brother has asked me to claim for his bank charges for him, which I am in the process of doing so. On some of his bank statements he has been charged a "Loan Insurance Charge", twice, both for quite a considerable amount of money. Looks as though he had a loan in 2003 but couldn't keep up payments, so he got another one in 2004 to cover the old one and to give him extra cash to pay day to day expenses. Do you think I may have a case for him to claim those Loan Insurance Charges back? Should I add them to his bank charges or do a separate letter? All advice helpful. Thank you.

    Have you got the loan agreements for the loans and were they single premiums?

    Always separate letters just because chances are it will be different departments dealing with bank charges and PPI mis sale and we don't want to confuse them now do we? :p

    I think Melorablack is stating for PPI reclaiming its different for bank charges as they are different claims.;)

    But I take it you mean about the first post, about charges that occur on loan insurance, such as the interest etc......
