    Hi

Thanks again for your reply. I was just wondering how long it takes for them to reply. I know they have 8 weeks to, but wondered what the general wait was for the first reply.

The more I think about this, I can't believe I still have to pay for something I no longer benefit from...plus interest..

Can I ask how or who and when this was first brought to the attention of the public. I had seen something on the telly a while ago, but did not give it a thought to my policy.

Thank you for your help and advice.

    Hi Tommy

Again this can vary, some will receive a letter within days, maybe a week or 2 to confirm the letter is received and they will be dealing with your complaint, but if you hear nothing at all by the full 8 weeks, you are entitled to move on to the FOS anyway.;)

Yes I know what you mean and the interest is still adds up also.

To what I can recall is that this was first mentioned in the media, I remember the first time I ever read about it was on "thisismoney.co.uk", I learnt from there, and have read loads on this since.

    Good luck.;)

    Thanks Di.

Fingers crossed, could do with some luck.. You know I keep having this little niggle that I was encouraged to take out the Insurance cover, but it was so long ago...I wish I could remember exactly what was said.

Hope you are enjoying this lovely weather.

Good luck with this Tommy 44,
I have been in the same position where it was only when we wanted to cancel the insurance to reduce payments that i realised that there was something wrong.
I am fighting to get our money back too
