of course we want to wait for ya!! you'll not be far behind me anyway!

we'd all be cheering one another on at the finish line but they usually move you away from that area pretty quickly so safest if we just agree to meet back in the square... plus it means those with kids get back to them in the shortest time.

I bet I'll be an hour or so behind you lot :o

I'm glad you'll be there at the finish though - we might need you all to carry us back to the hotel :p

So how will I recognise you wonderful folks in Roundhay Park? Will you be sitting under a banner thats says 'MSE ran the race'? Of course you could just look out for me - can't be many around like my family! My 14 year old son is now as tall as me and my 3 year old daughter - well lets just say she's petite and blonde, very unlike her mum!!! So that makes me a short, fat, dark haired woman then!! :rotfl:

Really looking forward to meeting you on Sunday and have a great race.

Terry, you will see a rather randomly thrown together bunch of noisy individuals and you'll just know it's us. Plus you've got my mobile so call me if you can't find us.....

Some of us will be wearing our medals!!!

I remember smiling cageily at people in Weatherspoons in Glasgow thinking, "are you MSE?" None of them were!

Sally - makes sense to just meet us there... if you get to Travelodge before me, just check in if you're allowed but remember it's my sunday name mari0n h££ps.... ££ being ee..... (trying to avoid being googled!) THe room is paid for so it should be okay....... otherwise wait in Sammy's room for me.....

Are we allowed wine? maybe if we start early and don't have too much....

Sal - re the hotel... there isn't a sofa in the room. and there is no option to upgrade to a family room either.

i asked whether it would be okay for kids to bunk on sleeping bags on floor, she said not really from a H&S point of view. So me n erin will just check in as the 2 pax in the room, and you n bea will just bunk in with us unofficially... can't see what else we can do?

Kids can fall asleep in bed then move them once asleep if they aren't keen on the sleeping bag on floor idea...but knowing them they will think it's an adventure!

Ah sure we will be fine and the girls will be fine on the floor. Am bringing Bea's snuggle sac so she will be fine. I'll see if I can check in, if not then will wait for you but Im guessing we will get there around the same time anyway
