in Credit cards
I quite fancy replacing one of my current cc's with the Tesco one. I buy all my petrol there and quite a lot of groceries so the double loyalty card points on wine etc. scheme quite appeals. I'm not currently employed but have quite a bit of capital. Since there's nowhere on the application form that asks about savings / investments rather than income am I likely to be turned down ?

Tesco are one of the more difficult credit cards to get based on what I've seen on this forum. I'd say the chances of you getting this credit card with no income are "slim to bubkiss".
Although, if you haven't applied for any other credit products in the last 6 months (and therefore don't have any other credit searches they could hold against you) it wouldn't hurt to try (IMHO)You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
You would have to tick unemployed on the form which would in most cases void your application in terms of a lending POV. Unless you can provide a level of income proof from your investments.I'm going for my QuidCo £million!

Thanks - what's a bubkiss ?
The only proof of income would be my last tax return I suppose but TBH I can't be arsed with all that just for a few extra clubcard points.0 -
Also note it isn't double points, leaflets quote 5 points per £4 spend in Tesco, this includes the 4 points you get from a standard clubcard (as the card functions as such), as such you get an addition 1 point per 5 pound spend or 0.25% (1% in deals)0
