Fitted wardrobes - North Wales

I'm struggling to find anywhere to get some nice fitted wardrobes. The places I've tried don't seem to cover North Wales - Gwynedd area. I want to steer clear of the likes of Sharps, Hammonds, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations please?

have you checked your local papers for ads? perhaps there are specialist companies/carpenters who advertise there

or the yellow pages online (yell.com) - you can make your search area specific.

is it an awkward shape to fit or something that you could DIY? You can get all sorts of different doors from diy places (including sliding ones), and then you'd just need to sort out shelves and rails to go in the recess. I know your OH is ill so you may have to get a man in but it's one option to consider if it's a relatively straightforward space to fit

Hi Pavlovs dog, sorry I wasn't ignoring you, my e-mail isn't working at the moment (Virgin c*ck up  ) and I've only just remembered to check for replies.

Nothing in the local papers, and the local carpenter bloke stuffed up hanging doors in our old house so he doesn't get a second chance :rotfl: .

I've found one firm but they say we're just outside their area, but will come and look if we give them a firm order - trouble is we can't give a firm order until we see what they can do  .

We want hinged doors rather than sliding. I think the sliding option might be easier though.

There doesn't seem to be anything else on the 'net for our area so I'll dig out the yellow pages now and see what I can come up with.

    Thanks for replying.
