Senior Schools in Hertford

Hello, I'm doing a bit of research on secondary schools. I'm looking at perhaps moving to Hertford as I know there are some very good schools there. I have looked up the League Tables and Richard Hale and Simon Balle look good. Are there any other schools (not private schools) that anyone knows about in this area. I'm looking for my son. I understand the SG13 is the prime catchment, does anyone have any experience that if you manage to purchase a property in these areas that you'll stand a good chance of getting in to one of these schools. Any advice/opinions much appreciated. What a nightmare this secondary school thing is!!!! Thank you.
