Have recorded some audio onto audacity, but it isn't letting me edit what it's recorded, and it doesn't want to let me save it either.
What am I not seeing, or doing wrong ?
Many thanks in advance
I've had a quick look at some online tutorials, and the difference I have is that my drop down menus are virtually all greyed out, so I can't select delete or save.
Any ideas how to get these menus working ?

Not to sure on this, have played with it myself.
To edit, if you click on "Edit" then, "select" > "All" . if you then click back onto edit all your options should now be available?
To save, you need to click on "file" then "Export as WAV", then you can save it to where you want it, it should not be greyed out once you have recorded something.
To delete, Edit > undo record.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Thanks for that Derrick
I think I might have confused myself as I recorded using the 'wave out mix' function.
Have now re-recorded, and seems to be OK, letting me edit things.Baby-Mechanic
