Ok well after putting my claim in on the 12/02/09 iv at last had my final response from the Bank of Ireland.
I regret that I am not in a position to refund the historical unauthorised overdraft charges that have been applied to your account. If you wish however, you can request that your details are added to our register so that this will be considered once the outcome of the high court case is decided. (I did think you where added without asking) I appreciate that this may not be your desired response; however I trust that my letter will go some way towards providing you with an explanation.
What a load of f//king s//t. Iv the case ith the ombudsman anyway. So do I need to do anything more or just leave it as is now or what??? Im at a loss they have took over a grand in a year alone.
Can anyone help me on what I need to be doing now plz

Hi Just wondering how you got on with the BOI? I'm just starting out to reclaim my charges and joined the forum to see if anybody had taken on the BOI. Wasn't sure if the same rules applied as for UK banks.0
