And then inevitabially you'd have to do it all again the next week because they'd all be taken down by the other sort! Remember reading about the SDLP putting posters up, and they just happened to glance around and saw Sinn Fein taking them as fast as they were putting them up!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

Diane Dodds, DUP, had the second most first preference votes, 88,346, just ahead of the Ulster Conservatives and Unionists with 82,893.
Jim Allister of the TUV polled strongly with 66,197 first preference votes.

Nicholson elected and Allister eliminated at Stage 3. One seat left - fight between Dodds and MaginnessThe Daily Mail

And Dodds gets the last seat - god help us all.
She didn't make the quota but was deemed elected i.e. if the counting continued she was most likely to get the transfers.
Lets see them spin this into a victory for the DUP - 3rd place and not enough votes to actually be electedThe Daily Mail

Dodds is in.
If the TUV's can't beat Diane Dodds in the European elections they don't hold any chance in local elections, not unless they come up with something new for the electorate to vote for. Something other than simply being against power-sharing with Sinn Fein.0
