A&L Online saver issue2 bonus query
I have had this account since november. It had a bonus of 0.9% making the rate 5.15%. Which is pretty good
The rate current rate on the website only mentions 4.25%!!!
If I look at 'previous rates' I see
On the current rates this is not mentioned. Am I right in thinking that I now take the new rate 4.25% and still add the bonus (as the old rate has expired this month, but the bonus is fixed for another 12 months)?. I am guessing they are not offering the bonus to new customers as of this month?

I checked with A &L. It is still 5.15% for current online saver customers until the end of the bonus period.0

There are 2 end dates for the bonuses
If your account starts 177-, the bonus ends 30June this year
If your account starts 180-, the bonus ends 30March next year.0 -
Ah, OK. Thanks people - sorry I started a new thread (merger?)
Mine is 177. How did I miss out on the longer bonus?
eDit: Just read the other thread through - man it took a long time to get through to the correct answer - why do they make it so hard? One account with a bonus that some people get (for longer than others) whilst others get no bonus. Madness!
Glad I kept my issue 1. It will be a better payer in July. The limit has gone up to £50k and over £30k it pays 4.75% (cf 4.25% in issue 2 now!).
Did anyone else spot this?
Thanks Again!0 -
I have an online saver issue 2 starting with 180 so I understand my bonus expires in March 2007.
I was wondering are there any penalites for withdrawing money at all. Or likewise for putting money in?
In other words can I withdraw and top up as much as I want without being penalised (as long as I stay under £25,000).
I know it sound silly but they don't exactly make it clear!!!0 -
