Is it possible to serve my upstairs tv from the existing VM cable box which feeds into my lounge set? If so, how do I go about this?

Ah, I do believe I've found the answer.
Quote:
'Multiroom: If you want to be able to watch different channels over Virgin at the same time, you'll need to get extra Virgin Media V-boxes. At the time of writing, these will cost an extra £9.50 a month. An installation charge applies. You can order an additional V-box online at https://www.virginmedia.com, or by calling 0845 840 7777.'

you could just run an extra cable from the main box to the tv however you wont be able to change channel
the other option is to try a wireless sender, they dont always work tho, didnt for me, cordless phone and wireless network mucked around with it0 -
use these with a virgin V+ box
they work pretty well in the bedroom (as well as change channel through the magic eye)

Can I just resurrect the thread to ask what people think of philnicandamy's suggestion..?0 -
Judging by the reviews on the site I would advise against it, most of them seem to be complaining about poor quality and stating it simply didnt work.Laptop: Asus X58L; 2Ghz Celeron M575; 1Gb RAM; Intel X3100 Graphic chip set; 120Gb Hitatchi HTS542512K; 15.4" Widescreen. Vista Home Basic

If you can run a cable from the rf output of the v+box to the 2nd telly. I would recommend using a pair of these to change channels, play recordings, etc.
Remote extenders
I do and they work very well."...IT'S FRUITY!"0
