Looking for ideas on where to sell a genuine signed promo CD from a top UK band.
Would prefer not to give any extra business to our "friends" at ebay/paypal so anyone know of any similar sites where I could get a good return on this?

TBH if you don't know of any other sites, the buyers won't know of them either.
Not meant to be sarcastic, just pointing it out

I agree with durham_girl, perhaps turning the question around to you might help. Where would you go to buy a genuine signed piece of merchandise? The places you would look are the places where your buyers are probably looking.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for the "help" - if I knew the answer I wouldn't be asking. This is the first time I've done this sort of selling and thought I might be able to get help on here from those with more experience.

I'm sorry you feel the advice was unhelpful, but I'm not sure what you expected really. The online market is pretty much sewn up by ebay, realistically by not using them you have lost most of your buyers.
If being online doesn't matter, then try a bricks and mortar auction house. They should be able to give you a valuation, you can have a reserve and you get cash in payment a few days after the sale. You should check the fees before you agree to sell as they can easily be 25% of sale price or more.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hey you asked a question, I gave an answer. I hate people that ask for advice then get in a huff because it's not what they wanted to hear.:j30/7/10:j
