Hi there everyone,
bit of a strange thread i know guys however i am just looking for some of your opinions really as in my local area, there is a Wednesday bootsale!!
Weekends are always busy with family commitments and its a bit difficult to change the routine.
I am thinking of taking annual leave to do a bootsale on a Wednesday however I am not sure if it will be worth it?? I know sundays are good days however i would prefer to take a wednesday off and do it then?
Anyone been/done a weekday bootsale and if yes would you recommend it??
THanks in advance!!!!:j

I used to go to a bootsale of a Sunday morning. It was massive, loads of buyers/sellers. But they changed it to a Wednesday and now it's not worth going, the only sellers are the market trader types and buyers have realised that so don't bother anymore.
If you can, ask somebody who has been or get somebody to do a reccie to see whether it's worth it.:j30/7/10:j

depends on what you are selling
we have a local bootsale on a wednesday, and its very busy. However its mainly antiques, ornaments, and market traders. Its only during school holidays that the type of booter changes to more like a sunday. Also if you are selling family household type items, its prob is best to do it in school holidays, as you get more familes through

I may try to get down there before work one day to see what there is going for sale. i may def do a bootsale in the school holidays then!
thanks again0 -
We have a local wednesday car boot sale that I attend quite regularly.
We also sold on a wednesday car boot sale last summer and did really well with the bric-a-brac, old make-up/toiletries and costume jewellery.
This week should be really good as the kids are off school, too.0 -
Ahh thats brilliant, thank you!
I think i may look at my annual leave and book a day. I think it seems different areas do different things. but its good to know all the different things.
