Mosquito repellent for toddlers

Hi, can anybody tell me of their experiences with effective repellents for toddlers?

I am thinking marmite, spray, wrist/ankle bands or electronic plugins or those things that stick to the pram and let off a sounds only audible to the mosquito.

All quite expensive though so I don't want to waste money.

Last year I tried citronella candles which only seemed to attract the wasps as well as the mosquitos; and marmite sandwiches which seemed to be effective but rely on the LO eating them!

We are going to spain in an air conditioned apartment. I read somewhere that the plugins are no good in air conditioned rooms?

Advice would be appreciated.

Best one that i have come across is the avon Dry oil body spray it has to be the green one though the others dont work it is one of the most effective insect repelants on the market. They dont advertise it as such due to it having to go through pharmasutical tests to be labelled as such which would cost a fortune so they rely on word of mouth. If you google it im sure you will find something on it :-)

Looks like your already sorted but in homebargains they had a few different children's insect repellents, some were suncream and insect repellent in one etc..All were a good brand but about £1-£2.
