Hotmail emails grey in google chrome

Hi I haven't changed any settings but all my emails (hotmail) in google chrome have now got a grey background making them impossible to read the text. it's nothing to do with pictures in the back ground being blocked.

my emails read fine in explorer and firefox.

any suggestions?

Don't use Chrome to check your Hotmail?

Hotmail seems to be very picky about what browsers it works with; it's almost as if Microsoft wants everyone to use Internet Explorer.

Perhaps you might consider using a desktop email client such as Thunderbird, or Windows Live Mail.

I find Google Mail to be much better than Hotmail.
