Hi petal
sorry I wasn't around when you posted this. My earlier advice still holds. I should have warned you not to phone them.
This is just nasty threats of the sort that those of us who've been around on this site for a bit have come to expect. But we should not accept it.
Merlin's letter will show that you are not going to be bullied. Then you need to work though this logically. If you could post a statement of affairs (see my earlier point 3) that would help us to grasp the big picture.0 -

I have had dealings with Triton and Welcome Finance. You need to write to them and arrange reduced payments that you can afford http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=29_debt_management_plan
This website has template letters of how to set up reduced payments. Check your original agreements and ensure there is no PPI on them. If you have PPI you are entitled to get help while on the sick. If the PPI is useless to you then it has been miss sold and you shouldd cvlaim back the payment. Whilst an account is in query (ifyou should query the ppi) under the banking code no action can be taken until the query is resolved. Give me a shout if you want further help dont panic. Get a debt management agreement set up with them that you are happy with is the first stepMY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing

I have been thinking some more and here is what you need to do like i did:
1. If you don't already have a copy write to Triton and ask for a copy of the original credit agreement and details of any Payment protection insurance or charges which may/may not have been applied to the loan.(lots of template letters on this site or on national debt helpline website) If you are stuck i will find you one for you let me know....
2.If you don't already have a copy write to Welcome Finance and ask for a copy of the original credit agreement and details of any Payment protection insurance or charges which may/may not have been applied. .(lots of template letters on this site or on national debt helpline website) If you are stuck i will find you one let me know....
3. Go onto the National debt helpline website and using the template letter write to both Triton and Welcome finance offering reduced payments of what you can afford. Explain to them your income and outgoings and why you need to reduce the payments. I have done all this myself so if you need further help just message me,
http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=29_debt_management_plan
4. When you get any phone calls or harrassment explain to them you are in the process of setting up a debt management program. (let me know if you need Triton or Welcome addresses i have them)
5. When you get back the replies to 1 and 2 (the copy agreeemenst etc) go through with a fine toothcombe and check theres no miss sold PPI or unlawful charges which can be reclaimed.
Good luck and dont panicMY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing

oh and i agree with the other guys they can't do anything to your wages or your house without a court order, the people on the phone are trained to get money by any means possible they will say whatever it takes. If a court letter comes through you have plenty plenty plenty of time to make an arrangement and plead your case before that happens so dont panic just message me or some of the others on here and we will help you egt through it. It is scarey i too have have court letters but i have learnt how to deal with it and how to stop things going that far. You can learn too you are not alone :-)MY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing
