So, today we went for it. Sky BroadBand, Sky TV & Sky Talk.
Breakdown of what we were buying:
> Sky + & Variety Pack + Knowledge Pack = £17.50
> Sky Broadband Connect 8MB (Other packages not available in our area) = £17.00
Sky Talk Freetime + Line Rental = £10
Total a Month = £44.50
Offers = £50.00 (Movin from Tiscali to Sky) Plus Free SKY + Box
So Got on the Phone and told them what we were after, but we werent going to pay £17.00 for the broadband , they said not a problem they will do the broadband for £10. we said fine. Now here comes the best bit, the guy at the other end of the line said that there is a current deal on that you can be upgraded to SKY+ HD for free for 12 months > YES FOR FREE.
So we accepted the deal. We will find out within the week when the contract pack comes through if this is the deal or something to get you into sky. lol
But if anyone is after sky, i would suggest to phone up and see if you could also get this deal.

Sky HD normally requires that you pay a tenner a month for HD channels. Did you get the just the HD box free or the HD box and subscription to HD free for 12 months?

Yes you should get a confirmation through. But that is the best offer I have seen on the HD.
