As of yesterday (16/12/04) Egg have extended their balance transfer offer to 0% until 1 September 2005. Could be a good time to apply. Purchases are 0% 1 July 2005, but of course you should avoid using the card for these if you want to maximize the use of the 0% BT offer.

I am in the same position. I have not yet returned the signed form, so I called to see if they could amend my application to have the 0% period to 1 Sep as opposed to 1 Jun. They said no.
I then said that I was considering not signing the form and reapplying for the longer 0% period! ;D
only to be told that I could not re-apply for 3 months!
I could not see anywhere on the T&C's which said that you could only apply once every 3 months...but they said that the application would be on file and would pick it up.
Looks like I am stuck with the original deal -does this sound reasonable?
(...must be sod's law to apply on the day that they change the 0% period! No sig!0
