Hi,
I haven't sold on ebay for a while and now the selling procedure has changed, it used to be possible to upload a picture and ebay resized it during the uploading process, now it appears large pictures wont upload and I need to resize myself... is this the case or am I missing something? I have used both the uploaders and end up with the red exclamation mark in the picture box..
Any advice would be appreciated...thanks

Try using a simple program such as Paint (the new version has resize at least) or Irfanview to resize your original image to something ebay will accept. It's likely that they have a maximum size for the initial image, but it will still resize if your image is within those initial limits.0

Thanks neiljung, I will resize it but isn't it annoying that so called advancements now mean you have to do this whereas before you did not have to ....

You're not using a new camera with higher resolution pictures than before? 1224x826 pics upload and resize fine for me, but there is probably a threshold otherwise people could upload for example 10 megapixel massive images and I can see why that wouldn't be allowed. Even most image hosts have a max allowed resolution of say 1600 pixels in any given dimension.0
