Hi Guys
Just been speaking to my sister who is disabled and she advised she has a loan with lombard that she has had for 10+ yrs.
She has been paying credit care on this, but I said to her is it a tailored policy to meet with your spinabifida? She said no.
Surely she can claim for full refund of subs???
Thanks
Nikci

Hi Nicki
I would definately try, it seems she has been mis sold.

If the loan is settled then they should repay her everthing she has paid in PPI, and the interest.;)
If still active they should put her back in the position as if PPI were not taken and refund all the PPI.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Credit Care is the term AA use for their insurance. Know this was an old one but I notice that Sainsburys CC also uses the term Credit care as well. It is the same as PPI:mad:0

Creditcare is the basic name for insurance provided by St Andrews Group (and sometimes Halifax Insurance Ireland Ltd but thats pretty rare) and can be found on Sainsbury's and AA loans as Max said and also on some Bank of Scotland loans and Home Shopping Personal Finance loans, I can't think of any more at the moment but basically all the above companies have finance and insurance provided by HBOS and insured by St Andrews or HIIL.
It looks like Lombard were either using the same insurer at the time or the name "credit care" was pretty common then.0
