MP4 video rotate problem.

I took a video on my phone today of my kids playing but when I have put it onto the computer it is playing sideways (i.e. 90 degrees from vertical) is there a program I can use to rotate the video, just as you can do with photo's?

OK i've done it, using Windows Movie Maker, but now I have another problem.
I've created an AVI of the video which lasts approx 1minute, but it's about 200Mb. Is there any way I can reduce this file size.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
