We had rain during the night -looks like lots of it ! Temperature's dropped a bit as well but at least everything looks lovely and green.
Snookered my plans for a bit of gardening today though.....everything is just too wet. Not to worry -far as I know we didn't get the hail unless I slept through it.
Something has cut the electric off in our town this morning - and my mobile is on 'emergency only' but least our household electrics haven't been affected. Don't know whether thats anything to do with the weather or not

We seem to have had an awful lot of rain here in East Kent, only dried up this afternoon. I put a large 60cm Plant Pot (without holes) on the patio to collect water pouring off the gutter - it filled and overflowed between 3 and 6am. Needed it though as the water butt has started to run low. I do now feel silly spending 40 minutes watering everything Sunday night!!!
Did put an end to the trailing Fushias I was about to put into baskets yesterday afternoon - filled the first with compost and the thunder and rain started.0
