littlewoods direct big problem

bit of advice needed please
my friend ordered a playstation 3 for her sons birthday when the 30% for new acounts was running in littlewoods direct

she came home to find a card through her door saying left with neighbour
so she collected it came home unpacked it to find a playstation 2 inside:eek:, on closer inspection she noticed that there was tape missing from the outer box and there was no seals on the playstaion 3 box either

she phoned littlewoods straight away and explained the situiation the appologised and arranged a collection for the next day

she asked to order a replacement but they said they had none of the one she had ordred for a further two weeks so she ordered a more expensive one for delivery within a week
then they phoned back her straight back to say because she had already ordered one she would have to phone the credit team in the morning for them to release the second console

she wrote a letter saying what had happened who she had spoken to and repackaged it up

she phoned the credit team the next day and was told the second console order was now placed and had been released
she asked that could a note be put on her account to say the console be delivered to her and not left with anyone else if need be she would phone the courier company and re arrange delivery only to be told the courier decides who and where to leave the parcel:eek:


she waited in all day the next day for it to be collected no collection so she phoned them back up to say about the failed collection they said someone would collect the day after tommorow:mad:

the next day a courier turnes up to collect the console

mean while the second console should have been delivered she waits in all day no delivery:mad:, so she checked online at the order status and it has now changed to the following day again she waited in all day checked online again for it to say delivery in arround two weeks,:mad:

so she checked if the origional console she had ordered was back in stock and it was, she phoned them explained the problem cancelled the second order and palced a third order for the first console she had ordered as it was back in stock


again they phoned straight back and she said actualy i want to cancel the order i just made (for the third console) she would get one elsewhere

about 2 weeks passed and she had still not been credited so she phoned them again to ask what was happening and was told it was showing on the system as received back but can sometimes take up to 14 days to show as credited back to her account

then a week later she received a letter saying that basicaly they had received the console back and upon inspection it can not be resold so will be kept for 60 days then disposed of and unfortunatly on this occasion they can not recredit her account :eek:

so she phoned the number on the letter explained the whole situiation and was told that they would need to pass the details onto a different department and she should receive a reply soon

she is now going out of her mind that she currently has a bill fpr £208 for a console she has never even received

any advice on where she should go from here
