solar garden lights

Am i the only one in the world who thinks that solar garden lights are so unbeleivably naff. They serve no purpose, they have no use, !!!!!! solar lights.!!!!!

I live in a semi, there is a street lamp shining into mine and next doors garden and they have them outlining their path.

I can go into my greenhouse and am able to read the temp on my thermometor in the light from the street light.

Totally naff!
