Last week started off well, but kind of fizzled out at the end, but even so, the difference is noticeable :)

    DS1 is arriving home tonight for a week - we're all excited about that :T :T :T :T

I'll be changing the lists to suit my needs this week so I fit a bit of everything in . . .

Monday - kitchen and dining mess
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Level Two
Wipe the front of the units and the large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Three
Wipe dining table and replace cloth if needed

    Extras
    1. Make bed up for DS1
    2. Put DS3 desk and computer into his room
    3. Wash the new winter sheets ready to be put on beds
    4. Vacuum DS1 & DS3 rooms
    5. HHI
My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is.............. same as last week - turn off taps and power on washing machine when not using it.

    Hello everyone
sorry to be late catching up but I have been out with my NOF to her son's restaurant - there was a fund raising night raising money for 2 young lads whose dad died very suddenly earlier this year and the paramedics service that tried to save him - he was the best mate of my friend's son. They had done a sponsored walk today and then there was a buffet laid on tonight and raffles and quizes and karaoke - it was good fun but i am tired. I think there was a lot of money raised.
just caught up with the end of last weeks thread and this weeks.....

pigpen hope Ds and Gf and jacob are all fine - you will be counting down the days now to them coming back
daydreambeliever -am I right in thinking your dad wasnt well last week - had to go into hospital? How is he now?
kazm she has to learn and you may as well start now - close your eyes to it honey - you have enough to contend with without a constant battle with DD - love DS's 'rules':rotfl:
boddy I am glad it was nice enough to take your Mum out and she enjoyed it - your time by the water sounds lovely - hope DD's leg gets sorted out this week.
Quillion thats sounds like a beautiful christening and i am sure your niece was just so gorgeous. Thank yo so much for doing the stars - You will be a hard act to follow. I will be watching you to make sure you are not overdoing things this week so you had better be on here posting a lot so that we know you are sitting down!!! And bless you for the candles - that means a lot to me.
soappie - your garden sounds like a real haven and sanctuary - I am very envious
serena thanks for the lovely words - I think it stands for Finally loving yourself but 'Firstly' is probably better!!! I dont really like myself much -a combination of things and I cant do much to change them. But will try to change the things around me.

Well I have failed miserably this week - took on a 2nd job and although getting more money to deal with debts, I'm left with less time to do housework etc. I will get more organised, might just take me a bit longer, ha!
swinstie jobs, money, debts are very important - dont stress about the housework - yes it will take you longer because it will be baby steps but thats good because it becomes habit forming and you then get through things quicker and without thinking about it - dont try to cram everything into what spare time you have.
michelle you sound like you had a alovely day and excellent news about the windfall and the renovations - roll on summer then! It will be nice to give you a star this week but you have to promise not to go mad and try to do the whole house at once or one of your really really really really really really long lists just the list for the day!!!!! i dont want you any more worn out than you already are!:D
and good to see you back toots...:j although could have done without the 7 month reminder :( :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    you have lost me now!:confused::confused:
mammamia2 hugs for you and your family on the sad loss of your Nan.
hi Holly -nevaeh - heaven backwards????? Hope you have a good week and get back on track.
well i see you all had a lovely day - outside in the sunshine - it was not sunny here - in fact i had to put on a jumper it was not nice! well done to you all getting things done in the garden while you can - the fresh air and sunshine is good for us - in small does and with the proper protection remember!!!

Despite Quillion's excellent work and encouragement it was the worst week ever for stars - lets see if we can all do better to say thank you to her this week.

I am glad its the kitchen because thats where I want to start - it may take me most of the week but I intend to do as much as I can.

see you all in the morning
    love and hugs
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

    Thanks Toots.

If i thought it would help you all i would light candles every day. Actually i may just do that we all should say at certain times like 6pm and 8pm.

I felt quite guilty not flying to get any stars especially when i was giving them out but never mind i will make up for it.

Had my water bill on Sat it was £400. i nearly fainted. I have never gone over £110.00 in 15 years.

I checked my meter and they have read it wrong. Phew thanks god for that.

They read it as 923 actual reading was 818.

Seems like the ants have moved into the hole so had to pour water in and fish out all the sandy mud and stuff. No wonder the guy didn't get the reading right.

I wonder what the new bill will work out to be.

    Night all xxxx

Good morning all. I am caught up with this thread, first in ages. Welcome back toots. Thanks pigpen and toots for the lists hope you are both feeling better than can be expected. Thanks to all who have done lists recently as well.

I am in this week for the whole hog. Its half term for me and as always I have more to do than then there is time for. I must do a list and prioritise it soon before the week is over and not enough gets done. I hope to get out tomorrow and attend a local geocaching event. That will be my ‘me time’ for the week. I will do as much as I can on the kitchen before I go and finish it before bed if I can. Boiler people are coming on Tue so must make downstairs presentable, declutter the landing and empty the airing cupboard just in case. I have brought home loads of marking so I must get an early start and do a little every night from tue.

I managed to get almost all the laundry washed and dried out this weekend. Mats are in WM still and will go out early. Must wash and put up the net c that have been down since LL had two BRs repapered (OMG that must have been 07 maybe 06). The dector took the hooks down and they just sat in a basket for years. When ever I open the curtains the world can see the junk piled high every where. How embarrassing.

Managed today as well to batch cook some bolognase for the freezer. Then went to the local sun market and got some toms cheap so will make tom sauce to freeze this week. I must search here for OS recipes. I will like to make up some meatballs to go with it. I am thinking that I can cook them and freeze them in the sauce. I have never done this before. Any advise anyone? I recon the more I can have in the freezer the easier my life will be as the next half term is almost 8 wks. So far the bolognase will free me 1 evening a week for a month then I can do it again.

    Off to bed now.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

Morning all - have the bucket filling up atm so will head off and mop the floor then i can get an early star - YAY! :D

Toots - he was in hospital, it turned out to be a chest infection that he'd ignored until it hit his heart. He had a week of anti-biotics and headed off on holiday on Thursday morning with my mum and niece. Dr advised him to go, rest was what was needed so having a rest away from London (and my brothers!) will do him good. Thank you for asking x

Well so far today i've been to the allotment and watered everything again - need to find some earth somewhere for my spuds as dad'll go mad if i keep using bags of compost :o

Off to mop the floor - lots of love and hugs to all in need especially Toots and L-L. xx
