He is and I feel rotten for moaning about him (though no doubt I'll do it again) because a lad has gone missing swimming in a disused quarry in Ashover (I think I knew which one it wll be, to as it was on a walk I did)Is he still alive????

Sorry for disappearing - went and sobbed on a friend a few roads away
She's shocked, angry and upset for me so my reactions appear to be reasonable and normal!
valli - yes, she knew I'd be upset; I've just got back and she's left a message on my ansaphone saying 'just checking you're ok'!
soappie, rosepink, sexymouse, boddy, SSL, Dusty, rach, MOJT, mudbath, and everyone else - you are all wonderful, fabulous, kind, supportive people and I am really touched. I have tears in my eyes again but they are 'happy' tears IYSWIM. I am so not ready for tomorrow, but am planning on talking to either the Head or Deputy just to let them know I have 'issues' at the moment! I won't go into detail, but they will be supportive and give me timeout if needed.

aww Rach I thought it might be baby news...
- still I'm sure it's be good. Both mine were dragged out unwilllingly - they were in for the duration - and DD especially was in fine fettle when she emerged. DS 'groggy' but he soon perked up. Sis will need lots of TLC...as do all new mums.
Enjoy cuddling him/her...

I've read all the thread this week even if i didn't manage to turn that into a clean house. I have had to do most of my planning this evening, but did do a lot of my marking in the garden while watching the kids play. I have a day at home next Tuesday without them, so we'll see if i can do any better next week.
I did alright till i lost my list somewhere on here.:rolleyes:You lot chat too much.
Rach hope all is speedy now for your sis. I'm sure she will love a visit. Sorry to hear about your PCOS too, but i've heard modifying your diet can do wonders for it,
Froddy you sound in need of a big hug too. Take time away from that friend i think.
Julie sorry to hear about your cousin.
toots thinking of you and wishing you well still.
I'm off now for a bath before tomorrow. Thankfully only 4 lessons tomorrow since y11 left so a lot easier to only plan 4 lessons instead of 5.
I will enjoy my hour of PPA time during the day tomorrow and i know how i'm going to use it .
See you all tomorrow hopefully x0 -
My you lot can talk! I don't think I'll ever catch up!
Well I will be on the new thread tomorrow, I have done total rubbish this week, been too busy with working 2 jobs BUT this morning whilst making a salad for my sis's barbie tonight, a HUGE spider nearly crawled onto my lettuce, in fact it gave me a big kick of the proverbial and I really need to get my house in order - I also found a bottle of milk I had forgotten to put in the fridge from yesterday - it walked itself straight into the bin!
Well done everyone else, can you all come and give me a hand, please?!? xx0 -
my sister has had a baby boy - all is well! don't know any more details yet. don't want to gum up the new thread!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
