I know Rose but I am back at work tomorrow and wanted to leave a nice clean house - and it's hot the heels of the playing in the river incident (in trainers which took 3 days to dry) then walking through the house wearing said trainers not realising the dried river bed was leaving a trail behind him..
He has now had his bath and has dropped the clothes he was wearing in the wash basket despite only having had them on for the afternoon
***goes upstairs to rehang them in wardrobe;)***

I really really want some ice cream, which we dont have. Failing that, I would like to have a bowl of cereal but we have no milk. Or perhaps some toast, but we have bread.

How can I persuade DH to go to the corner shop (apart from the obvious way)? Ive already tried the: "why dont you go out and buy yourself some beer" tactic.

ETA: I understand now Valli, sorry.

ETA AGAIN: Ive now tried bribing him with watching one of his favourite TV programmes.

Sorry that Ive not been using the apostraphe, it is broken

Big hugs Froddy - as greenbee says, if you want us to all come round and cheer you up, let us know. If it's any help, I know that both of them will get their comeuppance as valli said - my ex broke my heart by going out with one of my friends - she got her heart broken when he dumped her for her best friend, who then broke his heart by dumping him! Any chance you could go and see your dad? I know you're both close.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

no need to apologise Rose.. just that he doesn't think and at 15 (well 16 in Sept - so not far off adulthood in some respects) I believe he should. Anyway since he wouldn't move his water bombs that were drying on the patio ready to be used again I have - into the bin. Because otherwise they will blow all over the garden and I am not having that. They are now banned.
As far as I am concerned both mine are old enough to clean up their own messes. I told him before he started this waterfight he'd have to clean up after himself...

froddy Big hugs coming your way. What a horrible person to do that. Just imagine all your flylady friends are there with you hugging and comforting you.

Went to yoga tonight for the first time - I found it quite tricky doing some of the moves, so not very relaxing, but I guess the more I do them the easier they'll become. Class didn't finish til 6.30 and I didn't know that the gym close at 7, so had one of the gym team come in when I was naked  to tell me that they closed 5 minutes ago! Luckily she was female, but I don't think I'll be having a shower next week if I go - I'll wait til I get home as it completely undid all of the relaxation track at the end of the class.

OH is home now and I've managed to persuade him to do the dinner :j(he only has to heat up the cottage pie I made yesterday and cook some brocolli to go with it).

Feeling a bit shattered now, but just remembered I've got to put all of the clean washing away that I've brought in off the line - 3 loads worth!

Early night for me tonight I think.

See you all on the new thread hopefully.:hello:

    Take care,

    sexymouse xx
