Email links not working when forwarded?

I'm not at all technical minded but wondered if anyone could help. Please use the simplest terms possible if so.


I like to forward on joke emails from friends. However, I do like to remove the original senders addy for privacy sake. Problem is sometimes when I do that the attachment can't be seen by the receiver. Hope this makes sense.

I'm using Hotmail.

The original joke is often a "picture" which is deleted when you clear out the names.

Clear one line at a time. When you get a a seperator STOP. Click it to hgighlight and Delete.

Continue with the next lot of text etc.

I have found in the past that I need to save some attachments to my computer then re-attach them to the new email when using hotmail.
I dont even forward, I just create a new one.
