My mum and dads computer is showing the following message whenever they go onto the internet
Internet Explorer is currently running without add-ons
Can anyone please advise on how to get it back to normal for them?

How is IE being started - through a shortcut?
Try Start Menu->IE

When i go onto the start menu, it says Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons) on the start-up menu.0

goto C drive_PROGRAM FILES_INTERNET EXPLORER and right click 'iexplorer.exe' and create a shortcut
Drag that shortcut to the desktop and double click it:idea:0
