Computer document recovery (need help!!)

I had a problem deleting a folder from my computer, and after searching the internet found a programme that said it could delete the folder. I downloaded star assistant unlocker thinking it would delete the folder i didnt want, but instead the programme deleted everything but the folder. I have done a search for my documents, but there is nothing there. I have college work that i havn't backed up and really need to get back, can anyone help please???

yes, recycling bin is empty

also, install the recuva program to a usb hard drive or usb key to prevent doing even more damage to the data

Will it bring it back if ive formatted my hard drive and restarted windows

If you formated your hdd and reinstalled Windows you have got little chance of getting it back using free programs ,

Download and install a program called "Getdataback" you probably have to leave your computer on for a while , but its worth it. and you have to pay for the full version to restore the data.
